Minimum wage increases from October 1st 2012

From 1 October 2012, the adult minimum wage rate will increase from £6.08 to £6.19 an hour, the Youth rate will remain at £3.68 an hour. The Apprentice Rate will be £2.65 per hour. This rate is only for apprentices up to age 19 and / or those aged over 19 in their first apprentiship year.
